Paper Submissions

In order to submit a paper you must register as an author at DCAI 2008 conference management system http://dcai.usal.es/confDCAI/

Contributions

As in previous editions, the goals of the Conference will be:

  • to create the appropriate conditions for researchers to disseminate their research work.
  • to strengthen the relationships among the AI research groups.
  • to facilitate the contact between new researchers and consolidated groups
  • to help the diffusion of new developments to the community.

 

In order to fulfill these objectives, submissions of substantial, original and previously unpublished work are invited in all areas of Artificial Intelligence and Distributes Computing. The papers can be presented from a formal, methodological, technical or applied point of view.

Types of submissions

    1. Long Paper.

      A maximum length of 10 pages. They must consist of original, relevant and previously unpublished sound research results related to any of the topics of the conference.

    2. Short paper. A maximum length of 5 pages. They can be project report, a summary of a PhD thesis, or work in progress.

      Doctoral Consortium

    3. PhD students are invited to present the topic and progress of their research, in order to obtain feedback from a panel of experts. The length of these papers should be no longer than 10 pages.

 

All submissions will be refereed by at least three experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. Every submitted paper to DCAI 08 will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee.

Accepted papers (long papers, short papers and doctoral consortium papers) will be included in DCAI 2008 Proceedings to be published by Springer Verlag in the prestigious Advances in Soft Computing Series.

 

Springer Verlag

Papers must be prepared according to the Advances in Soft Computing Series template of Springer (MS-WORD or LaTex format) without page numbers. The template can be downloaded Here.


All papers for DCAI 2008 must be submitted in electronic form ( PDF format ) using the Paper Submission Page . Instructions to use the online submission system can be found here .
